01 — Manifesto

From the Latin cura — to care. We built Cura because the internet's biggest handmade marketplaces stopped caring. Dropshipped tchotchkes floated to the top. Real artists got buried. We're fixing that with a quality gate that's part community, part editorial eye, and unapologetically picky.

03 — Artist in residence

Every artist who applies is a real person with a real studio.

Every application goes through our curatorial review — we check for authentic, handmade work. No dropshipped goods. No stock photography. Just artists who make things by hand and can prove it.

"I don't want to be scalable. I want to be good. Cura is the first marketplace that's okay with that."
